Terms of Service

Welcome to QuoteMate ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

QuoteMate connects Australian homeowners ("Customers") with trade professionals ("Tradies"). We are a marketplace — we are not a party to any quote, contract, or work performed between Customers and Tradies.

2. Accounts

You must be 18+ and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure.

3. Lead fees & vouchers

Tradies pay a lead fee to submit a quote. Fees are shown before payment and are non-refundable — QuoteMate does not offer refunds on lead fees. Customer vouchers earned through the rewards programme have no cash value until you request a cash-out; once requested, they're paid by bank transfer to the account details you provide. Tradie free-quote credits have no cash value. Both may be revoked if obtained through abuse.

4. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on a real job. We may remove reviews that are abusive, misleading, or violate the law.

5. Conduct

You will not use QuoteMate to harass others, post unlawful content, circumvent lead fees, or scrape the platform.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuoteMate is not liable for the workmanship, conduct, licences, or insurance of any user. Tradies are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

7. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
